Lostangelz.nl explores the intersection of traditional graffiti lettering and abstract composition. Rooted in more than three decades of painting, the work translates the visual language of graffiti into layered compositions where letters function as structure rather than solely as readable forms.
Rooted in traditional New York graffiti, these murals explore lettering as both structure and expression. While the foundation remains unchanged, every piece reflects an ongoing search for new forms, compositions, and visual possibilities.
Abstract murals move beyond legibility, using colour, texture, and layered compositions to create visual rhythm. Graffiti techniques remain present beneath the surface, forming a connection between abstraction and tradition.
These works translate large-scale mural techniques into more intimate formats. Spray paint, ink, and other materials combine to preserve the visual language of the wall while encouraging experimentation beyond its boundaries.
Explore a selection of original paintings, limited edition prints, books, and carefully composed merchandise packs. Featuring hand-drawn sketches, stickers, T-shirts, and more, each piece carries a fragment of the visual language behind lostangelz.nl.
Commissions provide an opportunity to create site-specific work while remaining true to an established artistic direction. Rather than executing predefined concepts, every project is approached as an original artwork, shaped by the location, the context, and an evolving visual language.
