Rumbo | rip grunge

Recent works (2024–2026) are characterised by a layered approach. The process begins with the creation of a fully abstract composition that serves both as a background and as a fill for the eventual outline layer. The next step involves creating the outline as a form of overlay, followed by refining the interaction between the abstract background and the outlined structure until a coherent final result emerges.

Legibility clearly takes a secondary role within this approach, although the letters still remain present as a structural framework for the composition. The combination of traditional graffiti techniques and abstract experimentation results in a visual fusion of the two disciplines that feels authentic to me.
